Our representatives can address a wide variety of legal challenges, but not all of them. Sometimes we connect individuals to additional legal services needed to ensure their safety and security.

Our Public Benefits Unit supports families and individuals facing financial hardship to ensure they receive the benefits they are entitled to increase economic stability.

We provide legal assistance for the following federal and state government benefits:

  • Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI)

  • Supplemental Security Income (SSI)

  • CA State Disability

  • CalFresh

  • Cash aid/CalWORKs

  • Cash Assistance Program for Immigrants

  • General Relief

  • Unemployment
